About Me

I hold a Master’s degree in Communication, graduate certificates in Media Relations and Training and Consulting, and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations.

As a self-dubbed media aficionado, I believe that fusing today’s technology with time-proven strategies and methods allows message delivery with both quality and effectiveness.



Previously served as creative director for Iconic Deity Design House, where I focused on content creation, media relations, and generating targeted social media interactions.

My entrepreneurial desires led me to develop a local website (McAllenMetroJobs.com) to assist with personal efforts in job searches. I later expanded into a partnership that has gained both traction and popularity.

Grassroots marketing and social media marketing have been key assets in the project’s goals and development.

Elementary Campus UIL Coordinator

The program of academic competition for elementary, middle school, and junior high officially became “A+ Academics” in 2008. A+ Academics includes 20 different events for grades 2-8. These events span the curriculum – they are designed to complement and expand upon what students learn in the classroom, both through learning specific subject knowledge and through learning skills that are valuable in many disciplines. Approximately 3,000 Texas schools participate in A+ Academics, competing in more than 300 district meets each year.

Elementary Spelling UIL Coach

Students are seated, listening as a pronouncer calls out words at a rate of about five words per minute.  After listening to each word, students may request the definition.  Words are spelled out on paper, not aloud.

Knowsys Test Prep Instructor

Instructor, Knowsys Educational Services, L.L.C. Provide instruction and skill development to students in verbal and mathematics content to prepare them to undergo exams such as the GRE, SAT, and L-SAT.
